About Us

We’re a three generation, family ran smallholding. We are breeders of a range of show standard chicken breeds, from the practical Welsummer to adorable Silkie bantams. The crown jewel of our flock (and egg basket) is our range of English and French standard Marans.

We breed our poultry to the specific breed standards set out by their respective breed clubs and described in the British Poultry Standards. The exception to this is the French Black Copper Marans, with their standard produced by French councils.
